Spring Break

Dylan and I just booked tickets to Georgia for Spring Break. We are going down for a full week, Saturday-Saturday. I'm very excited to see my family again. It will be nice to not have to travel with Grammie either. As easy as she was to travel with, it was still somewhat stressful, especially with the license issue we had.

So mark your calendars! We're coming to visit!

SOLD!

My parents finally got their house sold! I am so happy for them! It must be so nice for them to not have to worry about having two mortgages, and dealing with the stupidity of home buyers and the market due to the economy. So now, that the house has sold, it's time for me to put in all my address change cards at the post office, and change the address on my license. I'm also going to have to get my own car insurance policy since my parents are changing theirs over to a new agency in Georgia. I hope that I can get a good deal out of it, but I doubt that will happen. Any input on what agencies/plans could give me a good deal?

Move Part 6

Mom flew back to RI this week and she is going to be packing up her mother to move her down to Georgia with them. It shouldn't be that bad of a move, because we got rid of most of her stuff when we moved her out of her old apartment 2 years ago. So this time, it should only be packing things into boxes and wrapping furniture. Plus, Mom decided to hire a moving company to take care of packing everything into the truck. That is such a relief for everybody. I can't even begin to tell you how many pieces of furniture we've moved in the last 4 years. It's ridiculous.

Inauguration Day

Today was one of the most important days in History. Today, Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States.

It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. I spent the entire morning setting all of the projectors, streaming videos and televisions at work, but finally managed to find a place to hide and watch the ceremony for myself. It was so amazing and emotional. I can't believe that we have finally reached a time in the history of our country that we can have an African American president.

Congratulations to President Barack Obama!

Happy Anniversary

Today is special for Dylan and I. It's our 3 year dating anniversary. I can't believe that its been that long, but at the same time, it feels like it's been much longer.

I'm going to be all mushy for a minute, and just express how much I love him. He is the most perfect person I have ever met, and couldn't be happier that I am with him. I can't imagine being without him, and I am really looking forward to our future together. Ok, I won't bore you with that anymore.

We're going out to dinner tonight to Constantino's on Federal Hill. We figured since it's a Tuesday, that it wouldn't be too busy. It's such a good Italian restaurant, so we are looking forward to eating there tonight.

Wii Monopoly

We rented this from Blockbuster last week, and we're addicted. It's so much better than the board game, because you don't have to worry about losing pieces, counting money, making up rules, etc. It does it all for you! And it goes much faster than the board game would. A game with four people takes only 2 hours, and that's a huge deal!

The game has 9 different boards you can unlock, and because we were so determined to know what the other boards were, we did it in 5 days. The boards are really cool, and have different properties, playing pieces, and money values, adding interest to the game.

If you have a Wii, I really suggest you get this. It's great to have when company is over, and even when you just wanna have a nice night in.

Ours is due back to Blockbuster tomorrow, but you know we will be going to Walmart to buy our own copy after we drop it off! :)
